My friend Katie's birthday was last week. To celebrate we decided to play a game of Mario Party. It was a pretty odd game of Mario Party, because there were a lot of coins in circulation but we were having trouble collecting stars. The RNG was also heavily favoring Katie for most of the game. I guess since she was the birthday girl the game decided to give her all the luck. She ended up winning some bonus stars, and won the game with 300 coins.

Also, during the minigame "The Final Countdown," the hard difficulty Luigi CPU literally just ran off of the platform instantly, which was pretty hilarious.

We also took this funny screenshot of Donkey Kong during the results screen. The look of his eyes honestly kill me whenever I look at this image.

I also decided to make her a Super Mario Maker level as a birthday gift. I asked her what her two least favorite and two favorite items in the game were. Her least favorite were hammer bros and lava bubbles, and favorites were spike blocks and munchers. So I went and made a level utilizing these objects. It ended up being a New Super Mario Bros. U castle level centered around winged munchers. It also had an athletic themed subworld that was more platforming based. It was really fun to make.
